DONT BUY THIS...okay being a person whos been into game design for over 20+ years i must say this is absolute garabgeGraphics,gameplay,controls everything is horribly done...uses unity assets as well and dev needs to learn game design before making a complete joke of themselves on steam...not worth a penny really its that bad...To Dev....take this garbage down no one is going to buy it...grow up a bit got serious feeling ur a kid making this by the way this entire game is baddly designed and the stupid tutorial telling people about eating and learn proper game design and playing 6 mins of this junk is a nightmare in it rightly own and im into unreal 4 dev myself much better engine to work with and dev tools than Unity which im also familar with ;)I get ur into game design... well learn it properly and stop wasting ur time on a pet project that ur charging people money for that is aweful in every aspect and makes urself actually look bad in the end...Dont mean to be harsh its the fact of the matter and like seeing people with a passion for this stuff actually go some were with it...Take this garbage down and take some serious advice from some one who knows game design alot. Being an early access game, I can only day this game has a lot of room for improvement. The Minotaur character looks good, but that is about it. The controls stink. I cannot find a way to pull the camera back out once it zooms in during fighting. Oh...and there is no clear way to close the game. Nothing in the menu says "log out" or "end game". Had to Alt-Tab out and kill the process. I hope this game gets better.. There's plenty of room for improvement in this game, but from the way it's looking it won't be improved very much. The combat is really really bad, and that's pretty important. I wouldn't recommend picking this one up unless it's changed really seriously. Its so bad I actually recommend it for people to see how bad it can really be. Seriously.. I thought this game looked good. At least different than the other inexpensive games that have been coming out. The controls are bad. The combat is even worse. I would just ignore this game even exists.I initially gave this game a thumbs down. The developer responded to my complaint and is fixing the problems I had. Never had a developer care about the consumers.. Hey there!So far I think it\u00b4s a nice game for an early access I mean games like Ark or PUBG had problems aswell and look what they are now, but that\u00b4s not the point.For being a great expierience I think you should - turn the music in the tutorial a bit down cause it\u00b4s loud for my opinion the next levels were fine from musical background- change the controlls to fit the Hack and Slay playstyle more- adding a Story (maybe a few cut scenes) cause I felt a bit lost why this Minotaur is going on a rampage- adding more animations (the animations so far are fine but the game doesn\u00b4t look fluid in the animation styleand as last point- maybe some personalisation options (skilltrees, unlock able outfits and weapons, maybe female minotaur)otherwise it\u00b4s a funny game so far and I\u00b4m curious what the next updates will bring ALMOST THERE!: UPDATE: Still in the review queue, and I think everyone there has gone home for the weekend by now, so I've changed the release date to next week. Earlier today I uploaded the game to Steam, and told them it's ready to be reviewed. So if all goes well, and their review backlog isn't too long, Minotaur will go on sale on the store Friday evening. If not, then... next Friday evening! (not sure of the exact time because Valve is in PST, but a lot of their dates use GMT)I've also made a new gameplay trailer, because the old one was really out of date. It still has all of those weak soldiers whose arms and heads get severed and tossed into the air, but now there's also stronger enemies to fight like the bird men (and women), cultists, armored enemies, bugs, demons, fire breathing dragons, giant two headed lizards, and a few level bosses.I don't know how to embed a video here, but you can see the new trailer here, or just by going to the main store page.. UPDATE 8 - Free Camera: (Minotaur battles the giant with the red sword in level 4, now much stronger and aggressive)(I'm spinning the free camera, to show you how much fun it is to look in other directions!)WHAT'S NEW?- Added a manual third person camera, similar to what's in Dark Souls and Grand Theft Auto.- To switch between manual/auto camera press C on your keyboard, or press in on your right joystick on your gamepad.- Fixed Minotaur's throw animation, so it transitions to idle when done. Instead of forever staying where he is with a stupid look on his face.- Updated computer enemies so they will no longer stack on top of eachother. Now when a group comes for you, they'll evenly spread out and surround you.- Added lots of props to level 1.- Also in level 1, moved enemy spawn points to more realistic locations. So now they'll come at you from a house, or a dark alley, rather than beaming in to the center of a courtyard.- Made Spearmen less spammy, by raising their attack cooldown. And less annoying by reducing their stun duration from 3000ms to 2000ms.- Lowered all enemy Cultist hp, to make them less tedious to fight.- Blocking attacks now costs stamina, if the block drains you to zero stamina yuo will then be stunned for half a second.- Level 4 adjustments to the giant soldiers with red swords, they're slower but will kill you in two hits. - Level 4 adjustment to the faster soldiers with blue swords, now they do a flurry of fast attacks.- Added HP bars to bosses, and every enemy with a lot of HP.. New Weapons + Improved Axe: Update 20 - New Weapons + Improved Axe- Changed Minotaur's axe. It's now 30% bigger, has a bigger hitbox, and his swing animation is 30% slower.- Added new weapons at the start of each level. There is a Hammer, Scythe, Sword, and a Rock (on some levels).- Fixed a bug preventing achievements from activating.- Made a few more corrections to the Russian translation.- Fixed a problem with the final level's loading, where if you would run to the boss from the start he would still be loading when you got there (this also affected the 3 mini bosses). So now the level starts loading the boss and mini bosses much earlier on, from the first set of stairs in the level.- Increased the size of a collider in The Ogre (the first boss after you leave the temple). This is to prevent Minotaur from running through him.- Added wolves to level 2 town. They're like props that bite!- Improved Minotaur's weapon picking up code. Now instead of grabbing the first weapon he sees, he will pick up the closest weapon to him.. Update: The update is going well. There are approximately 6 backgrounds to be replaced, 1 to be added (wasn't in originally due to many problems with it) and 1 for the DLC that will be coming just after the update.The alternative timeline ending has been changed significantly (and gets rid of a bit of a story oddity). In addition, there are a few extra changes when choosing this option more than once.. Welcome To... Chichester OVN : The Beach: This short side-story is now available !. Update 18 - New Temple: What's New?- Expanded the Temple Level, there's a new section to go through, an enemy with a scythe, and a boss near the beginning. Also moved and removed a few waves of enemies, to keep the pace of the level moving quickly.- Gave the mountain town troll boss some sounds for attacking and spotting the player.- Improved the Russian translation, thanks to i_GAME. So blame him if something's off. :)- Fixed a bug where lots of computers would spawn with 1 hp.- Fixed a bug with the PLAY button in the main menu, where it would try to load parts of levels and then usually crash. Now it will load the highest level you haven't beaten, or level 1 if you've beaten the game. I think this bug's been in for a few months now, ever since I split up the levels to make them load quicker.- Fixed a bug in level 2 (The Road to the Temple), where Minotaur was immortal! It was caused by old camera code that wasn't fully removed, and would cause an error before the code reached the point where Minotaur could respawn.What's Next?- A re-design of the Sky Level, to make it less grindy, and make the boss battle more fun.- Improvements and balance adjustments to all the earlier levels.. UPDATE 12 - Hard bosses and level 4: Too Long Don't Want to Read?. UPDATE 4 - bugfixes and more difficult AI: UPDATE 4 - bugfixes and more difficult AI, let me know what you think of level 2's boss! (too hard? too easy? just right?)NEW CONTENT- Made one of the temple rooms in level 2 bigger, and moved the Chimera fight there instead of the main room.- Placed an edible heart and brain on a sarcophagus in the corner of that room, and they will respawn if you die. So you don't have to worry about rationing your food there.BALANCE and AI CHANGES:- New attack for the Greek spearman (on normal and higher difficulties). If he sees you running nearby he'll do his spear attack, AND this attack's aim is set to follow your position, making it even harder to avoid.- Updated Orthros (the two headed dog lizard, or as some have called him the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥dragon"), made his attack recovery period much shorter. So you won't get as many free hits on him before he backs up and does another attack.- Made the dagger cultists more aggressive by lowering their group cooldown from 500ms to 50ms, and making their attack un-interuptible.- Removed the torch cultists global cooldown, so if he sees you but you're busy fighting someone else he won't care, he'll just try to burn you rather than wait his turn.- Gave the temple Chimera immunity to Minotaur charge/trample attacks. And if he sees you trying an aerial chop on him, he will try to gore you with his horns before you land (except on Easy difficulty).- Gave the large Greek soldier a counter attack to Minotaur's run.- Minotaur will stop running if he takes damage from anything.BUG FIXES:- Fixed the level 1 camera bug in the town, where it would do a closeup side shot if you left the fighting area.- Removed Minotaur's ability to run up steep hills and cliffs.- Removed 12 guys from the town fight in level 1, to help improve the pacing.- Changed Minotaur's health gained from eating. On Easy it's still half health per meal, but on Normal (and up) it's now 1/4 of his health per meal.PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS:- Put a 1.5 second cooldown on enemy blood splatter effects, because charging through them was covering the ground in blood puddles and killing performance. Just charging two cultists in the temple was making 90 blood puddle sprites.- Bleed won't be shown at all anymore if you set the Graphics Quality to bad.
